We work at all levels of your organization. We can assist in all phases of improvement, including Formation, Assessment, Planning, Solution Design/Selection, and Implementation. We apply a systematic methodology and a broad range of tools and techniques, tailored to each client situation. We have access to information on many “best practices.” We also maintain a network of business and technical specialists for in-depth analysis as needed. Our specific services are as follows:
Strategic Planning: Documentation of strategies and objectives. Clarification of their relationship to critical practices, issues and opportunities. Decisions on focus or mission; areas needing improvement; levels of improvement needed.
Formation & Orientation of Teams and Projects: Developing a Creation Care leadership team, core team, project teams and work plans. Identification of critical issues and forces. Developing project scope and objectives. Orienting executives and senior leaders, and gaining commitment to improvement. Training the teams as needed.
Opportunity Assessment: Review of the needs of the people, organizational objectives, and practices, products and services used. Brainstorming sessions. Benchmarking. Data gathering. Assessments of energy, water and material use. Issues identification. Prioritization of environmental improvement opportunities.
Improvement Planning: High-level definition of solutions, including proposed changes to practices, people, information and technology/facilities. Examination of major alternatives. Preliminary estimates of cost, benefit and timing.
Solution Design and Selection: Definition of solution requirements. Assumption- and rule-breaking exercises. Identification and evaluation of alternative solutions. Integration of practices, people, information and technology/facility dimensions of improvement. Selection of a preferred alternative.
Performance Measurement: Definition and implementation of appropriate measurements of results and effectiveness. Includes creation of performance baselines and measurement of on-going progress.
Program Management and Integration with Other Changes: Coordinating and linking of green improvement projects, to ensure effective timing, resource utilization, and management of change. Coordination of green improvements with supporting changes in people/organization, information systems, and technology/facilities. Integration with other ongoing programs.
Implementation Planning and Change Management: To bring about change, one must determine who will change, what will change, and when, where, why and how the changes will occur.
Project Management: Coordination of all of the above as well as assistance in coordinating resources of your organization, and of suppliers and consultants.
Resource Planning and Justification: Establishing the costs and benefits of specific creation care proposals.
Education: Courses focused on relevant topics such as the specific solutions, Laudato Si Atlanta Action Plan, rebate programs, grant programs, tax credits, and how to use our methodology to improve your environmental performance.
